Spring-Cycle Mini Grants

The Waltrip PTO is pleased to once again offer a spring-cycle mini-grant program!
Mini-grants fund special programs, projects, items, and/or events that benefit individual classes, teachers, students, and the Waltrip High School Community. Teachers and staff may apply for mini-grant awards for new materials for classrooms and school projects, programs, events, and school presentations.
Waltrip Information Night

Prospective families are invited to attend a Waltrip High School Informational Event designed for prospective families who want to learn more about our amazing school community.
The event will offer an opportunity to hear directly from current students, teachers, administrators, and parents, explore our academic programs and extracurricular opportunities, and discover what truly makes Waltrip a special place to learn and grow. Light bites and refreshments will be served.
Seeking Tile Installer, Electrician & Plumber

The PTO is seeking help from our community on a few small projects we have in the works on Waltrip’s campus.
We’re looking for a tile installer, electrician and a plumber. If you or someone you know are interested in lending a hand, please contact improvements@waltriphspto.org.

La Viva Spirit Night Next Week

The PTO treated teachers and staff to a holiday luncheon before the winter break as part of an ongoing effort to show appreciation for their hard work and dedication to our students.
Post Holiday Regift Exchange

Got a well-meaning but unwanted gift? That sweater from your mother-in-law that’s “not quite your style” or a duplicate kitchen gadget from Aunt Susan? Give it new life at our “Why Did They Give Me This?” Holiday Re-Gift Exchange! Join us on 1/25 for an evening of laughter, stories, and creative gift-swapping. We’ll be serving delicious hors d’oeuvres and festive drinks.
Upcoming Socials

Hosted by Waltrip parents and community members, and with a wide range of exciting activities, Socials are a great way to meet new people and enjoy some unique experiences. They were first introduced at our Jazz on 34th event, but some still have spots available. Check them out and sign up before they’re gone!
Water Bottle Filling Stations Installed

The PTO is excited to announce the installation of two water bottle filling stations on campus. Last year’s survey showed overwhelming support for this addition, and we heard you! Installation is complete, and we can’t wait to see them in action. Thank you to everyone who helped make this happen, particularly Campus Improvements & Beautification Chair, Angelica Sullivan!
DJ Bingo – Save the Date

Mark your calendar for our DJ Bingo fundraiser on March 28th. This is an event you won’t want to miss, so be on the lookout for more details coming soon!
