Teacher Grant Applications Now Open
The PTO is pleased to once again offer the mini-grant program for teachers! These grants fund special programs, projects, items, and/or events that benefit individual classes, teachers, students, and the Waltrip High School Community.
Parents – please help spread the word about this program to teachers!
The application deadline is Friday, September 5th.

PTO School Store Open This Week: Volunteers Needed
The PTO School Store offers food and drinks for purchase during lunch for Waltrip students. It generates significant funds that support the school, but volunteers are needed to help make this possible.
Just one hour of your time helps keep this amazing program running while giving you a front-row seat to watch our incredible students in action.
Volunteers must be VIPS approved. Please consider signing up now!

It’s Football Time – Friday Night Lights!
Aloha Rams! Our first Friday Night Lights is this Friday, August 29 as the Rams football team takes on the Episcopal Knights – 7pm at Episcopal High School. The Game Day Theme is Tropical. Students are invited to show their support by wearing their Tropical Best, including leis, tropical clothing and more! See you Friday night!
Spirit Night – THIS THURSDAY!
Place an online order with Papa Johns on 43rd on Thursday, August 28th and 20% of the proceeds will go to the PTO!

Spirit Wear Pick Up This Thursday
Students may pick up online spirit wear orders placed by 8/27 this Thursday 8/28 from the PTO Store during lunch.
Jazz on 34th – Save the Date!
Save the date for the 3rd annual Waltrip PTO fundraiser, Jazz on 34th, featuring live performances by our very own Waltrip Ram Band Jazz@1900 Big Band and the Waltrip Jazz II Band! This year’s event will be held on Thursday, November 6th, from 6 – 9pm, just across the street from Waltrip at Trees for Houston.
