First Ram Fest – 9/10
We’re launching Hispanic Heritage Month with the first Ram Festival of the year next Wednesday, Sept. 10th during lunch.
Students can look forward to free entertainment, including a mechanical bull, mariachi band, piñatas, and a photo booth—all adding to the fun and celebration.
Food & Drink will be available for purchase. All proceeds from ticket sales benefit Waltrip clubs and organizations, helping to support activities throughout the year.
Important! All purchases at the festival will require tickets. Tickets are $1 each and will be available for sale before and during the event for cash only. Please remind your student to bring cash that morning if they would like to participate in food and activities.
Volunteers Needed! We are seeking parent volunteers to help bring the fun to life. Your time and energy will make this event unforgettable for our students.Sign up today and join the celebration!
Jazz on 34th – Save the Date!
Save the date for the 3rd annual Waltrip PTO fundraiser, Jazz on 34th, featuring live performances by our very own Waltrip Ram Band Jazz@1900 Big Band and the Waltrip Jazz II Band! This year’s event will be held on Thursday, November 6th, from 6 – 9pm, just across the street from Waltrip at Trees for Houston.

Teacher Grant Application Deadline Extended
The PTO mini-grant program for teachers funds special programs, projects, items, and/or events that benefit individual classes, teachers, students, and the Waltrip High School Community.
Parents – please help spread the word about this program to teachers!
The application deadline has been extended to Friday, September 12th.
