College Fair and Senior Parent Night Monday, 10/6
Next Monday, October 6th will be Waltrip’s College Fair and Senior Parent Night.
The Senior Parent meeting will take place from 5:30 – 6:00pm. Students and parents will learn important information about senior year.
The College Fair will take place from 5:30 – 8:00pm and will feature over 50 colleges and universities. Students are asked to pre-register.

Class Wars: Victory Days — Round 1 Goes to the Class of 2027!
The PTO Student Culture Committee has teamed up with campus admin to launch a fun, friendly monthly competition—real wins, real rewards. Juniors were crowned Round 1 champs last Friday! They scored a Paleta Party for leading the pack. Next showdown hits end of October—the class with the fewest tardies wins! Show up on time, Rams!

Ram Fest Next Week
Ram Festival Day #2 will be next Wednesday, October 8. We’ll be celebrating with a classic Homecoming Tailgate!
All students will be able to enjoy football challenges, yard games, giveaways, music and a photo booth.
Food and drink will be available for purchase (cash only). All proceeds from ticket sales benefit Waltrip clubs and organizations, helping to support their activities throughout the year.
We need parent volunteers to run interactive activity stations and help with decorations. Sign up today!

Campus Cleanup 10/25
The Waltrip tennis courts were repaired earlier this year by the Houston Spark Park association but are in need of a little maintenance.
Join us for a campus work day on October 25 to clean the courts and remove overgrown weeds and vines. Bring garden gloves and pruning shears for weeding, or rubber gloves for court cleaning.
The Waltrip PTO will provide water and snacks.

Jazz on 34th: Annual Fundraiser Benefiting Waltrip High School
The 3rd annual Waltrip PTO fundraiser will be held on Thursday, November 6th at Trees for Houston (across the street from Waltrip).
The event raises money that benefits our entire school and includes live music by our very own Waltrip Ram Band Jazz@1900 Big Band and the Waltrip Jazz II Band!
Host a Social! One fundraising aspect of the event is socials – fun and unique gatherings that bring our Waltrip community together. Do you have an idea for a social or want to host one? Let us know by filling out our form!
