Ram Fest TOMORROW!
Ram Fests are school-wide events that take place during lunch, organized by the Waltrip PTO and featuring free entertainment for all students. These events also give Waltrip clubs and organizations the opportunity to sell items and raise funds for their programs.
TOMORROW, September 16, we’ll be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. Volunteer help with set up, activities and clean-up is greatly appreciated!
Ram Fests are cash only! Please make sure your student brings cash with them to purchase tickets.

Homecoming 2026 shirts are on sale now! Each class has its own color:
🤍 Seniors — Class of 2027
❤️ Juniors — Class of 2028
🖤 Sophomores — Class of 2029
🩶 Freshmen — Class of 2030
These soft-style tri-blend shirts are PRESALE ONLY through September 28! Shirts will not be available for purchase after the presale ends, so make sure you get yours now!
Shirts will be delivered the week before Homecoming.

Coffee with the Principal + PTO Meeting Next Week
Join us next Tuesday, September 22 at 6pm. Principal Randall will share information on the budget, scheduling and attendance. This will be followed by the PTO meeting at 6:45.
The Waltrip Alumni Association will be selling their Recipes from the Rams cookbooks. The cost is $20 and all proceeds benefit the Alumni Association Scholarship Fund. If interested, please email patti.newby78@gmail.com ahead of time to secur your copy.
Jazz on 34th: Tickets & Sponsorships!
Jazz on 34th kicks off Waltrip PTO’s annual fundraising season with an evening of live auction items, socials (sign-up parties), and live entertainment from our very own Jazz@1900 band.
Support Waltrip students, teachers, campus organizations, and school improvements by becoming a sponsor of Jazz on 34th. Sponsorship includes food and drink tickets. Explore sponsorship levels and help us make a school-wide impact!

General Admission: $75 through October 28
Price increases to $90 on October 29.
Teacher / Staff Admission: $50
Tickets must be purchased in advance. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Ram Nation Car Wash Fundraiser — September 17 & 18
Time to get your car washed? Do it for Ram Nation! On Thursday and Friday, September 17–18, visit Whitewater Express Car Wash (3309 Ella Blvd.) and use promo code 0917 — 25% of proceeds will go straight to the Ram Nation Athletic Booster Club. Wash for a cause!

The Waltrip High School PTO Grant Program supports projects, programs, materials, events, athletics, and other initiatives that benefit Waltrip students and our school community. We encourage teachers and staff to think creatively with their applications — all ideas are welcome!

Our new Waltrip clear bag complies with HISD’s clear bag policy for all stadiums and facilities, making it the perfect way to cheer on the Rams all season long.
Previous clear bag purchases may be picked up according to the pickup option selected when the order was placed—either by students during lunch in the School Store or at the front desk.
