Dual Credit and Dual Enrollment Meeting: Sept 2
Join Waltrip High School for a Dual Credit and Dual Enrollment Night tomorrow – Wednesday, September 2 at 5:30 PM in the WHS Library.
Families will meet reps from HCC and UT OnRamps and learn about dual credit courses, the HCC Associates Program, Core 42, and CTE certificate options.
Ram Fest, Sept 16: Hispanic Heritage
Ram Fests are school-wide events that take place during lunch, organized by the Waltrip PTO and featuring free entertainment for all students. These events also give Waltrip clubs and organizations the opportunity to sell items and raise funds for their programs.
On Wednesday, September 16, we’ll be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month. Volunteer help with set up, activities and clean-up is greatly appreciated!
Open House: Sept 9
Open House will take place on September 9th from 6pm – 8:30pm.
Parents will walk their child’s schedule and are encouraged to attend the full session to allow enough time to visit all 8 classes.
The PTO Store will be open for spirit wear and membership purchases from 5-6pm.

PTO Grant Applications Open
The Waltrip High School PTO Grant Program supports projects, programs, materials, events, athletics, and other initiatives that benefit Waltrip students and our school community. We encourage teachers and staff to think creatively with their applications — all ideas are welcome!
Please encourage your kids’ teachers to apply!

Missed the pre-sale? Clear bags are once again available to order.
Our new Waltrip clear bag complies with HISD’s clear bag policy for all stadiums and facilities, making it the perfect way to cheer on the Rams all season long.
Previous clear bag purchases may be picked up according to the pickup option selected when the order was placed—either by students during lunch in the School Store or at the front desk.
