HOCO Dance: This Saturday!
The Homecoming Dance is THIS SATURDAY, October 24!
Get dressed up and get ready for a night of music, dancing, and Ram spirit.

TICKETS will be on sale this week during lunch and can be purchased online until Friday at noon.
SONG REQUESTS can be submitted ahead of the dance. Students are encouraged to send requests.
VOLUNTEERS are needed for set up, during the event & cleanup.

It’s Waltrip Homecoming Week!
Ram Fest: HOCO Tailgate
Next Ram Fest is tomorrow during lunch – a classic Homecoming Tailgate!
Students will be able to enjoy football challenges, yard games, music and a photo booth. Food and drink will be available for purchase (cash only). All proceeds benefit Waltrip clubs and organizations.
We need parent volunteers to run interactive activity stations and help with decorations. Sign up today!
Jazz on 34th: Ticket Prices Increasing Soon
Jazz on 34th kicks off Waltrip PTO’s annual fundraising season with an evening of live auction items, socials (sign-up parties), and live entertainment from our very own Jazz@1900 band. The fun takes place on November 4 at Trees for Houston (across the street from Waltrip).
Purchase Tickets! General Admission tickets are $75 through October 28. Price increases to $90 on October 29. Tickets must be purchased in advance — none will be sold at the door.
Become a Sponsor! Support Waltrip students, teachers, campus organizations, and school improvements. Sponsorship includes food and drink tickets. Explore sponsorship levels and help us make a school-wide impact!
Host a Social! Grab a few friends, come up with a theme for a unique gathering that brings our Waltrip community together. Do you have an idea for a social or want to host one? Let us know by filling out our form!

Throughout the year, the PTO hosts events to thank the Waltrip teachers and staff who show up for our students every day, and we can’t do it without help from our families.

The Waltrip High School PTO Grant Program supports projects, programs, materials, events, athletics, and other initiatives that benefit Waltrip students and our school community. We encourage teachers and staff to think creatively with their applications — all ideas are welcome!

Purchase your Lotería cards for Waltrip Lotería Night on Thursday, November 12, from 6–8 PM on the cafeteria patio! Cards are $5 each, with prizes for every game.
Admission is free—cards are only needed to play. Join us for a fun evening with family, friends, vendors, and complimentary treats!

Waltrip Ofrenda
In honor of Día de los Muertos, Día de los Difuntos, Día de los Angelitos and All Saints Day, we’re creating a community ofrenda.
Students, staff and families are invited to share the names and photos of loved ones they wish to remember.
The ofrenda will be on display Monday, Oct. 26, through Tuesday, Nov. 3, in the front hall near the PTO School Store and Auditorium. Stop by anytime that week to visit and reflect.
