Get Your Tickets for Jazz on 34th: This Thursday!

Jazz on 34th is this Thursday, November 6th from 6-9pm at Trees for Houston! Enjoy live music from our talented Waltrip Ram Band Jazz Ensembles while raising funds to support our school.

Tickets are $75 and include food from Triola’s Kitchen and one drink tickets, with additional wine and beer available for a suggested donation. All proceeds benefit Waltrip students and staff.

Teacher & Staff Thanksgiving Luncheon

This year’s Teacher & Staff appreciation Thanksgiving luncheon will be held on November 7th.

PTO Teacher Grant Program Makes an Impact

One of the most rewarding ways your PTO fundraising dollars are put to work is through our Teacher Grant Program.

This fall, approximately $6,500 were distributed across 25 grant requests. All applications were at least partially funded. These grants directly impact student engagement and learning experiences. Examples include: art supplies, robotics equipment, theater production materials, educational subscriptions, athletic equipment, hands-on learning material, field trip opportunities, and MORE! 

Ram Festival Day #3: Next Wednesday

Ram Fest #3 will take place next Wednesday, Nov. 12th during lunch.

Students will be able to celebrate fall with mini pumpkin decorating, an inflatable corn maze, photo booth and pumpkin patch.

Food and drink will be available for purchase (cash only). All proceeds from ticket sales benefit Waltrip clubs and organizations.

Volunteers will be needed, as usual!

Merch Pickup TOMROROW 11/5

Parents and students are welcome to stop by the school store tomorrow (Wednesday) after school until 5:30 to pick up orders.

Limited quantities are available to order!

Campus Cleanup, November 15th

Ram Nation, please join us for our rescheduled campus work day on 11/15 to spruce up our tennis courts. Please bring garden gloves, pruning shears and rubber gloves if you have them!

The Waltrip PTO will provide snacks and water for all volunteers.

Class Wars Victory Days — Round 2 Goes to the Class of 2026!

Seniors were crowned Class Wars Victory Days Round 2 champs last Friday, with the fewest tardies. They celebrated with yard games and sweet treats. Round 3 is coming up at the end of November – the class with the fewest absences will be crowned the winners!

Band Senior & Alumni Night: 11/7

Join the Ram Band at Butler Stadium as they celebrate the class of 2026 and reunite with Ram Band seniors of the past!

The Ram Band invites you to bring your instrument and enjoy reconnecting with bandmates and celebrating the Ram Band Legacy!

Rosebud Mini Dance Camp: 11/15

The WHS Rambling Roses invite all incoming Kindergarten through 8th grade students Mini Dance Camp on Saturday, November 15th at the Waltrip High School gym.

The camp will begin at 8:30am (registration at 8am) and conclude with a showcase for family and friends at 12:15pm. More details can be found at the registration link.

The WHS Theater Department Presents “Almost, Maine”

Don’t miss WHS theater students take the stage on November 13 & 14 at 6:30 in the Waltrip Auditorium for a performance of Almost, Maine. Support our talented performers and enjoy an evening of live theater.

Tickets are available at the theater box office or through the Theater Department.
