Ram Fest – Go Texan Day 2/27

GO TEXAN DAY Ram Fest will be held this Friday during lunch!

Students will enjoy a mechanical bull, petting zoo, a stilt walker, live DJ, and best dressed Texan contest!

As usual, food and drink will be available for purchase. All proceeds benefit WHS clubs and organizations.

We’re seeking support to make our upcoming DJ Bingo, Auction & Fundraising Event an EPIC success! Please consider becoming a sponsor — or share this with someone who might be!

We’re currently forming the Nominating Committee for the 2026-2027 Waltrip PTO Board.

First Place for Jazz@1900 Big Band!

𝗪𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗽’𝘀 𝗝𝗮𝘇𝘇@𝟭𝟵𝟬𝟬 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗱 took home the top prize at the 4th Annual Harlem Hellfighters Jazz Festival!  

The talent, the energy, the music — they brought it all! Congrats to this talented group of Ram musicians!

Project Prom Seeking Donations

Last year Project Prom Houston helped Waltrip, Heights, Northside and Sam Houston seniors look their best for prom. The goal this year is to add two more HISD high schools to the event this year, including Scarborough. To make this happen, the following donations are needed:

• Formal Dresses (short or long, like new, clean, and no rips)
• Special event jewelry and hair accessories
• Ladies dress shoes
• Men’s Tuxedos
• Men’s white tux or dress shirts
• Men’s dress shoes

Donations may be dropped off at the following locations during normal business hours:
