Waltrip PTO Senior Scholarship
Class of 2026

Late applications will not be accepted.

Only one application per student is permitted. Once submitted, no changes can be made, so applicants are encouraged to review their responses carefully before submitting.

Applications are reviewed by an independent selection committee composed of individuals who are not affiliated with:

• Waltrip High School teachers, staff, or administration
• Waltrip PTO or other boosters
• Parents or guardians of Class of 2026 students

This ensures a fair and unbiased review process.

The application includes a mix of short-answer questions designed to help the committee learn more about you, including:

• Your interests, activities, and goals after high school
• Challenges you’ve faced and what you learned from them
• Effort, growth, leadership, and involvement
• Values, community impact, and future aspirations

There are no right or wrong answers — thoughtful, honest responses are encouraged.

Most questions are required. There are a few optional questions at the end of the application that allow you to share additional experiences or reflections if you choose.

Applicants are encouraged to take their time and provide meaningful responses. You may want to draft answers ahead of time before submitting the form.

Students will be informed of their scholarship award status in early to mid-April.

Responses are reviewed anonymously by the selection committee. Some responses may be used for marketing or Class of 2026 event-related purposes, without identifying information.
