There’s Still Time to Support Waltrip!

DJ Bingo Night may be over (check out our gallery if you missed it!), but the fun doesn’t have to stop there—our Wish Wall is still live!

Whether it’s supporting student clubs, classroom needs, or campus improvements, you can pick a cause that’s meaningful to you and make a donation today. Every contribution helps us go further together as Ram Nation!

Once goals have been met for Wish Wall items, any excess donations will go to PTO general funds to be used towards the school and student body

Waltrip Dance Team Auditions April 8 – 11th

Interested in joining the Waltrip H.S. Dance Team? The Rambling Roses Dance Team is holding auditions April 8-11!

Dance Clinic: April 8-10

Parent Info Meeting: April 9 at 6:30 PM
Audition Day: April 11
Waltrip Dance Room
4:30 – 6:30 PM

Important: Attendance at all clinic days is mandatory for a successful audition. Come dressed comfortably for dance and bring water.

Waltrip Community Picnic – Spring Edition!

Join us for the Waltrip High School Community Picnic – Spring Edition This Thursday, April 10th from 5-7 PM! We’ll also be celebrating Signing Day for incoming students for the 2025-2026 school year. Let’s give them a big Ram Nation welcome!

Interested in JROTC? Come to an Informational Meeting April 11th

The Waltrip 9th Battalion is hosting an informational event on April 11th in the library for students interested in joining JROTC! We’ll be talking about our mission and demonstrating what each of our teams do. Whether you’re curious about the program or already interested in applying, this is the perfect time to check it out!

If you’d like to join a team, fill out this form to let us know your interests and preferred roles: Interest Form. You can always change your mind later—we just want to hear what excites you most!

Don’t miss out on our Waltrip PTO Spirit Night next Tuesday at La Viva!

Join us on April 15th from 4PM to 9PM and 20% of your bill will go back to the PTO! Just make sure to mention the Waltrip to your server. See you there, Ram Nation!

Waltrip Class of 2025 Prom Ticket Information

Prom is around the corner, and the Waltrip High School Class of 2025 is getting ready for a night to remember. Below are important details for families of seniors:

Ticket Sales & Pricing:

March 26 – April 18: Tickets available for $100 via SchoolPay and during lunch.

April 21 – 24: Price increases to $125cash only during lunch.

No tickets will be sold at the door.

All seniors and their guests must have a ticket for entry. This ticket includes dinner, dessert options, professional photography, and a commemorative prom memory book.

How to Receive the Prom Invitation:
Purchasing online is not the final step. Students must bring their SchoolPay receipt to Mrs. Gatica during lunch in the cafeteria to receive their formal prom invitation and be added to the official prom entry list.

Guest Policy:
Seniors wishing to bring a guest who does not attend Waltrip must complete a guest permission form. This form is available when purchasing tickets and must be submitted in advance.

Fundraiser Earned Tickets:
Students who earned a ticket through the Spring Fundraiser must check in with Mrs. Gatica during lunch to be added to the entry list and receive their invitation.

Please note:

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

No ticket sales will take place on the day of the event.

No student will be admitted without proof of ticket purchase and placement on the entry list.

Families are encouraged to help their seniors meet all deadlines and requirements to ensure a smooth and memorable prom experience.

Waltrip Golf Teams Take the Lead!

A big shout-out to both our Waltrip Girls and Boys Golf Teams for placing 1st in district! Their hard work, skill, and commitment to excellence have earned them this well-deserved recognition. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and look forward to their continued success.

Waltrip Lady Rams Softball: Undefeated and On Fire!

The Waltrip Lady Rams Softball team is making waves this season with an amazing undefeated record of 12-0 in district play!

Tonight, we’re taking on Westbury at 7:30 PM at Butler. Then, on Friday, we’ll face Austin at 8:00 PM at Delmar. Friday is especially exciting as we celebrate Senior Night, honoring the incredible players who have given so much to the team. Be sure to come out and support our Lady Rams as they keep pushing for a perfect season!

Waltrip is celebrating our Seniors and their post-secondary plans with Decision Day! Help us make their next journey even more memorable by donating essential items for college and career success. We’re collecting school supplies, desk organizers, backpacks, water bottles, desk lamps, mini-fridges, laundry baskets, and more.

Donations can be dropped off at the College Center through April 30th. Let’s support our Seniors as they take this exciting next step!
