Waltrip PTO General Meeting Tonight
Don’t miss the Waltrip PTO General Meeting tonight, September 17th, at 6pm in the Waltrip Library. It’s a great opportunity to stay connected, hear about upcoming events, and get involved in supporting our students. Afterward, stick around for Coffee with Principal Cortez — an informal chance to chat, ask questions, and get to know the leadership at Waltrip.

Join us for a fun evening at William Price Distilling on this Thursday, September 19th, starting at 6 PM! Enjoy an all-day happy hour, a taco truck, and connect with fellow Waltrip parents. Plus, 10% of sales will support the Waltrip PTO. If you have friends who might be interested in sending their kids to Waltrip, bring them along, too!
Jazz on 34th – Save the Date!
Save the date for the Waltrip PTO fundraiser, Jazz on 34th, featuring live performances by our very own Waltrip Ram Band Jazz@1900 Big Band and the Waltrip Jazz II Band! This year’s event will be held on Thursday, November 7th, from 6 – 9pm, just across the street from Waltrip at Trees for Houston. Tickets are $75 and will include two drink tickets. Enjoy a complimentary cheese and charcuterie station, and don’t forget to check out the food trucks on-site for additional tasty bites available for purchase. Tickets coming soon!

Get your Waltrip Gear online here! The Waltrip High School PTO store is also open on campus during lunch for students and staff, offering a variety of snacks as well as Waltrip shirts and apparel. If you’re VIPS approved, please support us by signing up for a slot to help staff the store in our new and improved central location!
If you’re unable to volunteer, please consider donating to the school store using our online donation form. Make sure to indicate it’s for the school store in the Notes field.
