Special PTO Meeting Called – Urgent Vote on Bleacher Repairs
Ram Nation, we need your voice!
A special PTO meeting has been called for Monday, June 2 at 6:00 PM (via Google Meet) to discuss and vote on critical funding for repairs to the Waltrip bleachers. This issue impacts the safety and experience of our students and community, and we need as many PTO members as possible to attend.
Principal Randall will be on hand to walk us through the project and answer any questions, so this is your chance to get informed and make your voice heard.

Class of 2025 Senior Clap Out Continues!
Let’s cheer on the Class of 2025 as they take their victory laps at their former elementary and middle schools! These Senior Clap Outs are a fun way to celebrate our soon-to-be graduates and inspire the next generation of Rams.
Bring your Waltrip student ID and wear your cap and gown!
Students must be checked out by a parent to attend—these are off-campus events hosted by the elementary/middle schools.

Waltrip is offering free and low-cost summer sports camps for students in grades K–12! From softball to soccer, volleyball to wrestling—and our popular S.A.C. Strength & Conditioning Camp—there’s something for every Ram.

Join us June 9–13 from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for a special summer session designed to help you kick off your high school band journey. Don’t miss this chance to make new friends, learn the ropes, and start the season strong!
Roarin’ in the Summer is Back—Now with Jazz!
The 3rd Annual Roarin’ in the Summer Band Camp returns this June—and new this year is Jazzin’ in the Summer, Waltrip’s first jazz-intensive camp!
Who: 4th–12th grade band students with at least one year of experience
What: Fun, skill-building activities, daily private lessons, and a focus on musicianship, teamwork, and leadership
When:
Roarin’ in the Summer: 8:30 AM–12:30 PM, June 16–20 & June 23–27 (no camp June 19)
Jazzin’ in the Summer: 1:30 PM–3:30 PM, same dates
Cost: $100 per camp – Free for current and incoming 9th grade Waltrip band students
Class of 2025 Graduation Details
It’s almost time to celebrate our seniors! Waltrip High School’s Class of 2025 graduation ceremony will be held on Friday, June 6 at 3:00 PM at Delmar Fieldhouse (2020 Mangum Rd, Houston, TX 77092).
Tickets are required for all attendees. Each graduating senior will receive 10 tickets to share with friends and family.
Waltrip Silks Spring Showcase – This Friday
Come support the incredible talent of the Waltrip Silks at their Spring Showcase on Friday, May 30 at 7:00 PM in the competition gym! Enjoy performances by the Rookie Group, Veteran Group, Guard Captain Group, and the Waltrip Winterguard. This is a great opportunity to cheer on the Waltrip Color Guard and celebrate all their hard work this season. Don’t miss it!
