The Waltrip 3DE Program is proud to announce its newly inducted Junior Ambassadors: Mica C., Diangelo S., Chloe P., Andrew F., Nicole E., Gianna F., Keny B., Allen R., and Tracey R.

During their orientation, these exceptional students were welcomed into the leadership team and introduced to their roles, including leading the 3DE Model and assisting with tours, recruitment, and events. Their enthusiasm and professionalism sets the tone for an exciting year ahead!

Our next General PTO Meeting is happening next Tuesday, December 17th, at 6 PM in the Waltrip Library. Stick around afterward for Coffee with the Principal. We can’t wait to see you there!

On Thursday, December 12th, from 4 PM to 8 PM, head over to Raising Cane’s at 3007 Ella, Houston, TX, and mention Waltrip Football at the register. Cane’s will donate 15% of net sales to the Waltrip Football Booster Club.

Tickets & Reservations:

🔴 BBQ plates $20 – available for purchase online, from band students, or directors while supplies last. Concert admission included.
🔴 Reserve a table $100 – Includes 6 seats for the concert, free drinks, sweets, and coffee. BBQ not included. Contact the Band Booster Committee or directors to reserve a table.
🔴 Concert Only $1 – Tickets for concert admission can be purchased at the door.

The Waltrip Rams Boys Basketball Team is on fire! They remain undefeated in district play with a perfect 4-0 record after their impressive victory over Austin High School last Saturday. Keep up the great work, Rams!

Waltrip’s very own Rambotics Inc proudly represented our school and district at the UIL State Texas B.E.S.T. Robotics Competition in Dallas! The team of 18 demonstrated incredible perseverance and teamwork, competing in a challenging five-pronged tournament: Marketing, Booth Exhibit, Engineering Notebook, Spirit & Sportsmanship, and of course, the Robot itself.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to the team’s leader, dedicated mentors, generous sponsors, supportive donors, and the RAM STEM Foundation. Your contributions made this amazing travel opportunity possible! We are so proud of Rambotics for showcasing the strength and spirit of Ram Nation on such a prestigious stage.

The Waltrip PTO is excited to host our annual Waltrip Staff Holiday Luncheon on Wednesday, December 18th, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM!  Teachers and staff, we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

The Gulf Coast Regional Blood Center will be hosting a blood drive this Friday, December 13th, starting at 8:30 AM in the competition gym.

Seniors who complete a second donation will receive a graduation cord as recognition!

Mark your calendars! Midterm exams will take place from December 16th to 19th. These mandatory grades are essential to earn credit for the first semester.

Preparation Tip: Encourage your scholar to calculate their grading cycle scores to figure out what they need to pass. Preparing early can make all the difference!
